A fast acting inhibited acid descaler for ultrasonic baths and circulation cleaning. It rapidly removes limescale, rust and mineral deposits from metal parts while protecting surfaces and restoring system efficiency.

Product Description:

Ultrasonic Descalex Liquid is a concentrated acid-based descaler formulated to remove water scale, rust, mineral deposits, and limescale from industrial equipment and water systems.

It is widely used in ship boilers, condensers, heat exchangers, cooling systems, pipework, and similar equipment where scale rapidly builds up.

 

Its formulation typically includes:

 

  • Strong mineral acids for rapid scale dissolution
  • Inhibitors to protect metal surfaces from over-attack
  • Anti-foam and wetting agents for improved cleaning efficiency
  • Corrosion inhibitors to help preserve metal surfaces during cleaning
Product Application:

Key Areas of Application of Ultrasonic Descalex Liquid

  • Boiler cleaning – removal of limescale to restore heat transfer efficiency
  • Cooling systems – heat exchangers, condensers, evaporators
  • Industrial water circuits – pipework, storage tanks
  • Marine equipment cleaning – engine coolant water side systems
  • Ultrasonic cleaning baths – used as the cleaning fluid with ultrasonic agitation (where specified)
Product Dose:

After using Ultrasonic Descalex Liquid sense all metal surfaces with 0.5 percent of  RXSOL-10-1005, at least 2-4 hour , up to neutral of PH value.

 

Ultrasonic Descalex Liquid for Heat Exchanger works by:

  • Dissolving calcium carbonate and other mineral scales chemically
  • Breaking up rust and iron oxides
  • Lifting heavy deposits away from metal surfaces
  • Allowing them to be flushed or circulated away
  • In ultrasonic systems, this action is enhanced by cavitation which helps penetrate scale and improves cleaning action. (Typical practice in ultrasonic cleaning agents.)

 

Typical dilution range: 1 part Descalex Liquid : 4–9 parts water depending on deposit severity.

 

Recommended not to dilute more than this as inhibitors can lose effectiveness if over-diluted.

 

Dosage directly depends on severity of the scale.

 

Post Treatment

  • After descaling, the cleaning solution must be drained and system neutralised with an alkaline neutralising agent: RXSOL-43-1308-025
  • Rinse thoroughly with water until pH returns to neutral before starting operation.
